4th of July! My favorite holiday

I don't know what it is about the 4th of July...the fire works, good food, crazy family BBQ's, red-white-blue color combinations, our freedom...I just LOVE this holiday! then again, if you ask my mother-in-law, I just like all holidays! (she is right).

We started our day at the Temecula Parade in Old Town (a tradition I had growing up). It was hot out but we managed to enjoy the cool cars and little cheerleaders.



Crazy to think that I had this SAME cheer uniform when I was a apart of the Spirit team in 5th grade!

Here are our great friends who were crazy enough to go with us! The Taylors.




We then had a great time with our family, BBQ-ing!






Then off to the Temecula Sport's Park for fireworks! Jack and I had a BLAST! (what other day can you play at the park at bedtime?!)




Jack loved the fireworks but he just plugged his ears the whole time yelling out "Ooo's and Ahh's" at the colors. It was a great show this year.
